Years ago, Precious Metals Processing Consultants, Inc. developed and patented a revolutionary type of electrolytic recovery system, the Gold Bug®. Gold recovery and platinum recovery does not have to be expensive or difficult.

The Gold Bug® is used very successfully with all of the precious metals including silver, palladium, palladium-nickel, platinum, rhodium and iridium. Various types of solutions of copper, cadmium, tin, tin-lead have all been successfully treated to concentrations of less than 5 ppm with the Gold Bug®. Undetectable levels are sometimes possible to obtain. The Gold Bug® is a hit among those needing precious metal recovery and rhodium recovery from solution.

It has been reported to us that 60% - 80% of the free cyanide in a 500 gallon solution was destroyed in 48 hours of operation at 400 amps. While it would take more time to destroy I00% of the cyanide than it takes to remove all of the metals from solution, any cyanide reduction is helpful for total cyanide destruction and ultimate disposal of the solution.
